This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., is filed by the Petitioners/Accused Nos.2 and A-3 seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.150 of 2018, pending on the file of the Station House Officer, Palakol Rural Police Station, West Godavari District, registered for the offences punishable under Section 295(A) and 297 of I.P.C. and Sections 3(1)(t) and 3(1)(b)(c) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Public Prosecutor, appearing for the 1st respondent - State.

Learned counsel for the petitioners does not press upon the other grounds mentioned in the Petition and he only seeks that a direction be given to the Police concerned to follow Section 41-A of Cr.P.C. 4.

Hence, considering the above, the Criminal Petition is disposed of with a direction to the Police concerned to follow Section 41-A of Cr.P.C. before effecting the arrest of the Petitioners/A-2 and A-3. 5.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any, pending in this Petition shall stand closed.
