THE HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI CRIMINAL PETITION No.13270 of 2018 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioners/A1 and A2 to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.48 of 2018 on the file of the XVI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, registered for the offences under Sections 188, 273, 336, 420 IPC and under Section 20(2) of the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products (Prohibition of Advertisement and Regulation of Trade and Commerce, Production, Supply and Distribution) Act, 2003, against them.

Learned counsel for the petitioners/A1 and A2 and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing 2nd respondent-State submitted that the issue involved in this petition is squarely covered by the order dated 27.08.2018 of this Court in Criminal Petition No.3731 of 2018 and batch.

In view of the above submission, the Criminal Petition is allowed in terms of the order dated 27.08.2018 in Criminal Petition No.3731 of 2018 and batch.

Registry is directed to attach a copy of the order dated 27.08.2018 in Criminal Petition No.3731 of 2018 and batch to this order.

5. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending in this criminal petition, shall stand closed.
