Petition filed under Sections 437 & 439 of Cr.P.C. praying that in the circumstances stated in the Grounds of Criminal Petition, the High Court may be pleased to enlarge the Petitioner/Accused No.3 in Crime No. 196 of 2017 of Excise, Balanagr on bail on such condition or conditions. The petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the memorandum of grounds filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Sri M. Amarnath, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Public Prosecutor(TS) on behalf of RespondentState, the Court made the following ORDER :- "This petition is filed, under Sections 437 and 439 of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973, seeking to enlarge the petitioner, who is A3, on bail in Crime No.196 of 2017 on the file of the Prohibition & Excise Station, Balanagar.

Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

As per the case of the prosecution, the quantity seized from the accused is 3 Kgs 800 grams of dry ganja, which is far below the commercial quantity. The accused has been languishing in jail since 17.11.2017. 4.

The Public Prosecutor submits that the investigation is almost completed except for filing of charge sheet.

Hence, considering the above circumstances, the Criminal Petition is allowed and the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on condition of his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand only) with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the XII Metropolitan Magistrate, Ranga Reddy District at L.B.Nagar, and to appear before the trial Court on the dates given by the concerned Court. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed."
