HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 45105 of 2018 ORDER:

1) Heard both sides. With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. 2) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondent Nos.2 to 4 in harassing the petitioner by interfering with his business in black jaggery, under valid licence and bills and not allowing the petitioner to carry on business in black jaggery and alum and visiting the shop and godown, as illegal and arbitrary and consequently, direct respondent Nos.2 to 4 not to interfere or in any manner seize the stocks and the vehicles while transporting the black jaggery.

3) Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition seeking release of jaggery and alum seized by respondent Nos.2 to 4, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to respondent Nos.2 to 4 not to interfere with the business of the petitioner, except in accordance with law. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that he is not pressing for release of jaggery and alum alleged to have been seized by respondent Nos.2 to 4 from the shop of the petitioner. 4) Having regard to the circumstances stated above, the present writ petition is disposed of directing respondent Nos.2 to 4 not to interfere with the business of the petitioner, except in

accordance with law and as per the prescribed procedure. No costs.

5) Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
