THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V.BHATT WRIT PETITION Nos.41336 & 41397 OF 2017 COMMON ORDER:

The petitioner challenges the orders dated 06.11.2017, 24.10.2017 and 17.10.2017 passed under Section 7-A of the Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is satisfied if the request of the petitioner for instalments is considered by 2nd respondent.

On instructions, Smt Kalpana Ekbote, counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is prepared to deposit a sum of Rs.50,00,000/- as early as possible, preferably, within four (04) weeks from today.

The endeavour of the petitioner is to persuade 2nd and 3rd respondents for granting reasonable instalments to clear the amount demanded through proceedings impugned in the writ petitions.

Mrs Manjula, counsel appearing for respondents 2 and 3 submits that if an application is filed by the petitioner, by depositing the amount, respondent Nos.2 and 3 would look into the request and pass orders as

expeditiously as possible, preferably, within two (02) months from the date of receipt of the application. Writ petitions are accordingly disposed of. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
