The petitioners, in this writ petition assail the in-action on the part of the 4th respondent in considering the application made by them, the recent being made on 02-09-2018 to enter their names in 'online records' of the revenue records in respect of their lands in question situated in Namasivayapuram village, Venkatagiri taluk, Dakkili Mandal, SPSR Nellore district and to issue e-pass books, as being illegal, arbitrary and for issuance of appropriate consequential directions to meet the ends of justice.

Heard Sri L. Ravi Chander, learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue. 3.
When an application is made by the petitioners, it is for the competent authority to consider the same and pass orders thereon, but it cannot be kept pending without passing any orders for unspecified period, when such an application is made the recent being on 02-09-2018 seeking the relief therein.

In the circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to consider the application of the petitioners and take action by making necessary entries in online revenue records and issue e-pass books, in accordance with law and on subjective satisfaction as to the ownership of the lands being claimed by the petitioners, within a period two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Miscellaneous petitions if any pending shall stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
