HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE SRI THOTTATHIL B. RADHAKRISHNAN AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V. BHATT WRIT PETITION No. 45120 OF 2018 Order : (Per The Hon'ble The Chief Justice Sri Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan) Petitioner complains that her husband, P. Sunil Kumar, has been illegally detained by the third respondent-Station House Officer, Tirumalagiri Police Station.

2. We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home submits on instructions that the alleged detenu was arrested in connection with the cognizable offence and he was produced before the jurisdictional Magistrate and has been remanded to judicial custody. He also submits that consequent of such action, the count under which the said person was initially arrayed, has also been altered to a higher count under the Indian Penal Code.
