Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the respondents.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking a direction to the Court below to dispose of I.A.No.186 of 2017 in LGOP No.263 of 2017, as early as possible.

Learned counsel for the respondents would submit that though LGOP is numbered, but till date, no cognizance is taken, as such giving a direction would not arise.

Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the present writ petition is disposed of directing the trial Court to dispose of the said I.A.No.186 of 2017 in LGOP No.263 of 2017, as expeditiously as possible, in accordance with law, in case cognizance of the matter has been taken. 5.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
