THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY W.P.NOS.42227 AND 42306 OF 2017 COMMON ORDER In these two writ petitions, petitioner, who are fair price shop dealers, are challenging the orders dated 29.11.2017 and 23.11.2017 passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer in imposing penalty for diverting the PDS Rice into black market violating clause 17( c ) of the A.P. State PDS ( Control) Order, 2008.

At the hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners, on instructions, represented that petitioners are prepared to pay the penalty amount and that some time may be granted.

The learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies, did not oppose the representation made by the learned counsel for the petitioners. In view of the above representation, the petitioners are granted four weeks from today for payment of penalty imposed in the impugned orders. Till then, the respondents shall not take any coercive steps. In case of default, it is open for the competent authority to take appropriate action in accordance with law.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. Miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
