HONOURABLE Dr. JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.13337 OF 2018 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C by the petitioners/ A2 to A4, seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.33 of 2018 dated 08.07.2018 on the file of Women Police Station, Khammam, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 506, 420 IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent/ State submits that the police already filed charge sheet before the I Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Khammam and C.C.No.730 of 2018 is allotted and hence, the relief sought for in this criminal petition has become infructuous. Recording the above submission, the Criminal Petition is closed. However, the petitioners are at liberty to file a fresh criminal petition impugning the police final report with Part-II Case Diary, to decide on own merits.
