THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION NO.12497 of 2017 ORDER:

This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code (for short "Cr.P.C.") to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.295 of 2016 on the file of XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at L.B.Nagar, registered for the offences under Sections 498-A, 406, 506, 354(D) IPC and Sections 4 and 6 of DP Act. Learned counsel for the petitioners after arguing the matter for sometime, requested this Court to direct the court below to follow the procedure laid down by the Apex Court in Rajesh Sharma v. State of U.P1.

Acceding to the request of the learned counsel for the petitioners, without touching the merits, I find that it is a fit case to issue direction to the Court below to follow the procedure laid by the Apex Court in Rajesh Sharma v. State of UP (referred supra). Therefore, the Court below is directed to adhere to the guidelines issued in Rajesh's case (referred supra).

With the above direction, this Criminal Petition is disposed of.

Consequently, miscellaneous applications pending if any, shall stand closed.
