Gopu Lakshmi v. The State Of Telangana
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.45726 of 2018 ORDER:
The petitioner is the widow of Gopu Narsimha, who is stated to be the absolute owner of an extent of land admeasuring Acs.15-00 guntas in Survey No.51/A of Pigilipur Village, Hayathnagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the revenue authorities in carrying out mutation in the revenue records in her favour after the death of her husband in relation to the above extent of land.
The material placed on record however reflects that the petitioner did not make an application in the prescribed format. When this aspect is pointed out, Ms.K.V.Lakshmi, learned counsel representing Mr.K.Sai Krishna Mohan Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner, would state that the petitioner would make a proper application and that the revenue authorities may be directed to consider the same. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of permitting the petitioner to make an application in the prescribed format along with the requisite fee seeking mutation in her favour in relation to the land inherited by her from her husband. The revenue authorities shall consider the said application on its own merits and in accordance with law as and when made.
Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs. ____________________ JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR Date:23.01.2019 PGS
