It is the case of the petitioner that his mother Sk.Mastan Bee working as Conductress of M.P.P. Urdu School of Badvel Village and Mandal, Kadapa District, died in the year 1974 while she was in service. At the time of her death, the petitioner was aged about eight years and stated to have submitted a representation on 24.12.2014 to pay the death benefits to him. Now the petitioner is aged about 50 years. When the petitioner was eight years old in 1974, at least after obtaining majority in 1984, he should have taken steps for redressal of his grievance. He did not state anything in the affidavit with regard to the steps taken by him, but filed the present writ petition on the basis of some documents alleged to have been signed by the Head Teacher of the School on 24.12.
2004 stating that the petitioner's mother signed the Aquittance Register till December, 1974. The said certificate does not convey anything with regard to the death or status of the petitioner's mother. The petitioner is approaching this Court after 40 years. In the circumstances, this Court sees no ground to interfere with the present writ petition.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
