This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the 2nd respondent in issuing impugned proceedings No.LPB/5004/2018, dated 22.10.2018.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue submits that petitioner filed representation dated 01.11.2018 and in pursuance of the same the petitioner was furnished information dated 12.12.2018; and that petitioner has alternate remedy of appeal if he is aggrieved by the information supplied by the Public Information Officer of any office. The same is not disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
In view of the same, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to avail alternate remedy, if he is aggrieved by the information furnished by the 2nd respondent dated 12.12.2018. No order as to costs.
