O R D E R

The case of the petitioner is that vide proceedings in Lr.No.1769/C4/2016 dated 18.09.2017, the District Educational Officer, Nalgonda has sent proposals for change of his date of birth, to the 1st respondent - Commissioner and Director of School Education, Telangana. On the ground that the original SSC pass certificate has not been submitted, the 1st respondent vide the impugned proceedings in Rc.No.364/UMC/2017 dated 07-02-2018, rejected the said proposals. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition has been filed. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after filing of the writ petition, petitioner has submitted the original SSC pass certificate to the 3rd respondent - Principal of Don Bosco High School, Nalgonda, where the petitioner studied, and the Principal in turn submitted the same to the 2nd respondent - Deputy Educational Officer, and the 2nd respondent forwarded to the same to the 1st respondent.

Heard the learned Government Pleader for Education. Having regard to the facts and circumstances, the impugned proceedings dated 07-02-2018 are set aside and the 1st respondent is directed to reconsider the proposals of the 2nd respondent in the light of original SSC pass certificate submitted by the petitioner and other documents filed by him, and take appropriate action for correction of date of birth of the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
