It is the case of the petitioners that they have made an application on 17.10.2017 for building permission and same was rejected on 28.11.2017 by the 3rd respondent. Against the said orders of the 3rd respondent, they preferred appeal under Section 128 of the Gram Panchayat Act before the 2nd respondent on 01.12.2017. As no orders are passed on the said appeal, present writ petition is filed.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri G.Narender Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for the 3rd respondent. In view of the same, since the statutory appeal is pending before the 2nd respondent, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioners, in accordance with law. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel to the disposal of this Writ Petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
