Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.

The petitioner joined the services of the respondentCorporation as Driver in Warangal-II Depot in the year 1988. He was sent for medical examination on 21.05.2014 to APSRTC Hospital, Tarnaka, and the Medical Board opined that he is unfit for the post of Driver under A-1 category and also unfit for all other categories as per the medical standards of APSRTC. On the basis of said report, he was retired from service on 02.06.2014 on medical grounds, by order, dated 05.06.2014, issued by the third respondent.

It is the case of the petitioner that salary was not paid from December, 2013 onwards and when he asked for payment of salary, he was paid half salary from December, 2013 for three months and thereafter, nothing was paid. In that connection he submitted a representation on 28.06.2017, requesting the respondents to pay salary from December, 2013 to 02.06.2014 and HRA for 18 months i.e., from July, 2014 to December, 2015. He further states that he would have attained superannuation on 10.08.2022 in normal circumstances. When the representation of the petitioner is not being disposed of, he filed the present Writ Petition.

Learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation, on the basis of instructions, submits that the respondents would consider and dispose of representation of the petitioner, dated 28.06.2017, within a period of four weeks.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 28.06.2017, and pass appropriate orders thereon, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
