Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for the respondents.

The petitioner states that he is a Panchayat Secretary of Gram Panchayat, Achampalli and was also holding additional charge of Gram Panchayat, Narayanapur, Gangadhara Mandal, Karimnagar District. While so, he was placed under suspension with effect from 04.03.2017. Thereafter, enquiry was ordered against him by proceedings dated 01.03.2017 and served on the petitioner on 04.04.2017. He submitted his written statement on 11.04.2017 to the articles of charges framed against him. The Enquiry Officer was appointed on 24.04.2017 and he submitted his report on 28.06.2017. Pursuant to the enquiry report, the petitioner was issued a show cause notice on 18.10.2017 and the petitioner submitted his reply also on 23.10.2017.

When no orders were passed thereafter, the petitioner filed the present Writ Petition for consideration of his representation dated 23.10.2017 seeking reinstatement into service and drop further action on humanitarian grounds. The Writ Petitioner sought disposal of the said representation, but the said relief cannot be granted by this Court at this juncture, as a show cause notice was issued to the petitioner pursuant to the enquiry report and the petitioner submitted his explanation. In the circumstances, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to pass appropriate orders pursuant to the show cause notice dated 18.10.2017 and the reply of the petitioner dated 23.10.

within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
