This Writ Petition is filed seeking writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 2 to 5 who are not conducting any enquiry against the illegal selling of earth excavated from Yanamaduru drain by the 6th respondent and misappropriating the government money as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Irrigation for respondents 2 to 5.

A perusal of the prayer in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition goes to show that the lis is in the nature of Public Interest Litigation.

Hence, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition and the same is liable to be dismissed and same is dismissed accordingly. However, it is open for the petitioner to file Public Interest Litigation, if he is so advised. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
