HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 45931 of 2018 ORDER:

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking the following relief:

" To declare the action of the respondents in refusing to covert petitioner's commercial vehicle (Yellow Plate) bearing No. TS-06-UB-5212, Make: Mahindra Xylo to non commercial vehicle (White Plate) as arbitrary, illegal, unconstitutional and contrary to law apart from being violation of principles of natural justice and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to receive the petitioner's representation dated 22.11.2018 by converting petitioner' s vehicle into non commercial vehicle."

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner made a representation on 22.11.2018 for conversion of his commercial vehicle into non commercial vehicle, till date, no orders are passed on the same.

Learned Government Pleader would submit that if the representation of the petitioner is still pending consideration, and if the petitioner is entitled to, the respondents will pass appropriate orders on the same, in accordance with law, at the earliest.

In view of the above, the present writ petition is disposed of with consent, at the admission stage, directing the respondents to deal with the representation of the petitioner dated 22.11.2018 for conversion of the petitioner' s commercial vehicle (Yellow Plate) bearing No. TS-06-UB5212, Make: Mahindra Xylo to non commercial vehicle (White Plate) and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, as early as possible. There shall be no order as to costs. 5.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
