HON'BLE SMT. JUSTICE KONGARA VIJAYA LAKSHMI WRIT PETITION No.40197 OF 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents 2 to 4 in opening rowdy sheet against the petitioners, based on a report alleged to have been registered against them in Crime No.2 of 2017 on the file of Vayalpadu Police Station, Chittoor district, vide proceedings in C.No.44/SDPO(M)/2017, dated 17.02.2017, as illegal and arbitrary.

Today, during the course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners fairly agreed to the suggestion put forth by the learned Government Pleader for Home, appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 4; according to which, the petitioners would make a representation to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Madanapalle, Chittoor district, to close the rowdy sheet pending against them and, on receipt of such representation, the said Deputy Superintendent of Police is directed to consider the said representation and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of such representation. 3.

Accordingly, with the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
