THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.43075 of 2017 ORDER:

The second respondent issued a notification in March, 2016, to conduct the Teacher Eligibility Test. The petitioner applied for the said test and appeared for the same. It appears that the result of the petitioner was not announced due to the mistake committed by her in bubbling the booklet code in OMR sheet in respect of paper No.1. The results of others were announced and the recruitment process was also completed. The present Writ Petition is filed challenging the inaction of the respondents in announcing the result of Teacher Eligibility Test paper No.1 for which the examination was conducted 22.05.2016.

Learned Government Pleader submits that the test process was completed long back and in the year 2017 also another test was conducted. If the petitioner was eligible she could have appeared for 2017 examination. But, after conduct of test in 2017 and completing the process of 2016 examination, she cannot file the present Writ Petition, which is barred by laches.

In view of the above, as the test process for the year 2016 was already completed, the Writ Petition is dismissed. The miscellaneous petitions pending in this Writ Petition, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
