Heard the counsel for petitioner, the learned Government Pleader for Revenue, for respondent nos.1 to 4, and the learned Government Pleader for Irrigation, for 5th respondent. 2.

The grievance of petitioner is that petitioner had filed an appeal E1/2399/2012 on 07.09.2012 before the 3rd respondent under Section 5 of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971; and that the 3rd respondent, before whom the said appeal is now pending, is not taking any action thereon.

The learned Government Pleader for Revenue, appearing for respondent nos.1 to 4, states that the 3rd respondent will decide the said appeal within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order, and communicate his decision thereon to petitioner.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to decide the said appeal within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order, and communicate his decision thereon to petitioner. No order as to costs. 5.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending if any in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
