THE HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2020 In/and CRIMINAL PETITION No.13504 of 2018 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short, 'Cr.P.C') is filed by the petitioner/accused seeking to quash the proceedings against him in C.C.No.538 of 2015 on the file of IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad, Kukatpally, Miyapur.

During pendency of the Criminal Petition, I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2020 came to be filed by the 2nd respondent-de facto complainant to permit him to compromise the matter with the petitioner/accused and to record the compromise between him and the petitioner/accused. In I.A.No.2 of 2020, the 2nd respondent-de facto complainant filed his sworn affidavit, compromise petition and joint memo, inter alia stating that at the intervention of elders and well wishers, they have come to the conclusion to settle the disputes by way of compromise. As such, the de facto complainant has no objection to quash the proceedings against the petitioner/accused in the subject Calendar Case. 3.

Today, both the parties are present before this Court and they are identified by their respective counsel. They also filed photocopies of Aadhar cards and photographs in proof of their identity. This Court, when examined, both the parties have stated that at the instance of elders, they have settled the matter out of the Court and the de facto complainant has no objection for

quashing the proceedings against the petitioner/accused in the subject Calendar Case by recording the compromise. 4.

In the light of the compromise arrived at between the parties, the joint compromise memo filed by the both parties is taken on record and I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2020 are ordered. 5.

Consequently, the Criminal Petition is allowed in terms of compromise, and the proceedings in C.C.No.538 of 2015 on the file of IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad, Kukatpally at Miyapur, are hereby quashed against the petitioner/accused.
