O R D E R

This writ petition is filed to declare the proceedings of the 3rd respondent - Revenue Divisional Officer in Rc.No.A4/ 2902/ 2016 dated 30.08.2018, granting permission for conversion of subject land from agriculture to non-agriculture, as illegal and arbitrary. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

Admittedly, against the impugned order, petitioner has a remedy of appeal under Section 8 of the Andhra Pradesh Agricultural Land (Conversion for Non-agricultural Purpose) Act, 2006. Without availing the statutory remedy of appeal, petitioner filed the present writ petition. Hence, this court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition and the same is accordingly dismissed, leaving it open to the petitioner to avail alternative remedy available under law.

Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
