CRL.P.MP.No.13030 OF 2017 This miscellaneous petition is filed under Section 320 of Cr.P.C seeking permission to compromise and compound the offences to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.476 of 2014 on the file of IV Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Warangal, for the offence punishable under Sections 498-A, 342, 327, 406 IPC & Sections 3,4, 6(1), 6(2), 6(3A) of Dowry Prohibition Act. The petitioner/A-1 and the second respondent/ defacto complainant are present and they are identified by their respective counsel and produced Photostat copies of Aadhar cards to prove their identity.
A joint memo is filed by both the parties, when terms of compromise are explained in Urdu language by Learned Public Prosecutor for the State of Telangana, they are admitted to be true and correct. Further, it is now submitted that, petitioner/A-1 and the second respondent/ defacto complainant voluntarily entered into compromise due to intervention of elders and well-wishers and they wanted to lead peaceful life.
Therefore, I find that the compromise is voluntary in the interest of both parties and permission is granted to compound the offence. Hence, compromise is recorded in terms of the joint memo filed along with this petition. Accordingly, this petition is ordered.
