THE HONOURABLE Dr.JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO I.A.Nos.2 to 4 of 2018 in/and Criminal Petition No.13578 of 2018 ORDER :
The petitioners are the A.1 to A.5 in Cr.No.168 of 2018 on the file of the Chandrayanagutta Police Station, Hyderabad, registered for offences punishable u/ sec.498-A IPC and u/ sec.3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, (for short, 'the Act') on the report of the 2nd respondent-defactocomplainant. The petition I.A.No.2 of 2018 filed by Javeed Bin Hassan, father of the A.1 to permit him to represent his son-A.1 is allowed. The defacto-complainant and the petitioners/ A.2 to A.5 and GPA for A.1 along with their respective counsel present before the Court and they stated that they have settled the dispute between them amicably and sought permission vide I.A.Nos.3 and 4 of 2018 to compromise the matter and compound the offence.
In view of the compromise between the parties, the same is recorded and they are permitted to compound the offences. In the result, the I.A.Nos.2 to 4 of 2018 are allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is also allowed quashing the proceedings against the petitioners/ A.1 to A.5 in Cr.No.168 of 2018 on the file of the Chandrayanagutta Police Station, Hyderabad. The petitioners/ A.1 to A.5 are acquitted and their bail bonds shall stand cancelled. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
