The case of the petitioner is that he had made a complaint against the 4th respondent - employee in the Sub-Registrar's Office for the alleged omissions and commissions on his part, with respect to his (petitioner's) property. His grievance is that though the said complaint was registered as FIR No. 202 of 2018 for the offence punishable under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code on 23.09.2018, the 3rd respondent Station House Officer has not been conducting any investigation thereinto. Hence, the Writ Petition. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
Learned Government Pleader for Home (Andhra Pradesh) submits that FIR No. 202 of 2018 has been registered pursuant to the order, dated 04.06.2018 of this Court in Writ Petition No. 14902 of 2018.
In view of the above submission, since the First Information Report has already been registered against the 4th respondent, the 3rd respondent Station House Officer is directed to conduct investigation into the said crime and file a final report / charge sheet, in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure, within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With this order, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
