THE HONOURABLE Dr.JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2018 in/and Criminal Petition No.13608 of 2018 ORDER :

The petitioners are A.1 to A.7 in S.C.No.85 of 2018 on the file of VII Addl.District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Court for Trial of Cases under SC&ST (POA) Act, Ongole outcome of Cr.No.65 of 2017 of Chirala II Town Police Station registered for offences punishable u/ sec.498-A, 506, 509 read with 34IPC and Sections 3(1)®(s) and 3(2)(va) of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989(for short, 'the Act') on the complaint of 2nd respondent/ defacto-complainant. The petitioners/ A.1 to A.7 and the defacto-complainant along with their respective counsel present before the Court and they stated that they have settled the dispute between them amicably and sought permission vide I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2018 to compromise matter and compound the offences.

In view of the compromise between the parties, the same is recorded and they are permitted to compound the offences. In the result, the I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2018 are allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is also allowed quashing the proceedings against the petitioners/ A.1 to A.7 in S.C.No.85 of 2018 on the file of the VII Addl.District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Court for Trial of Cases under SC&ST (POA) Act, Ongole outcome of Cr.No.65 of 2017 of Chirala II Town Police Station. The petitioners/ A.1 to A.7 are acquitted and their bail bonds shall stand cancelled.
