Shorn of details, the grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that even though he lodged complaint on 03.11.2017 with the Station House Officer, Chityala Police, Nalgonda District, and Crime No.310 of 2017 was registered on the same day, so far the investigation is not completed and charge sheet is not filed against whom the complaint was lodged.

Learned Government Pleader produced a copy of written instructions dated 22.12.2017 furnished to him, signed by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Chityala Police Station. 4.

The instructions furnished would disclose that there are claims and counter claims by rival parties and crimes were registered against both sides. All the accused, including petitioner, were arrested on 05.11.2017 and they were remanded to judicial custody. It is further stated that the investigation in Cr.No.310 of 2017 is in progress and in the process of investigation, the police required examination of some more witnesses, to collect caste certificates of both parties and other material evidence to establish the offence. It is also stated that investigation is in hectic progress and if one month time is granted, they would complete full-fledged investigation and file appropriate report before the concerned Court.

Having regard to this statement, it can not be said that there is inordinate delay on the part of the respondent-Police authorities

- 3 - in conducting investigation in Cr.No.310 of 2017 warranting interference by this Court.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
