The grievance of the petitioner is that the 2nd respondent-District Collector (L.A), Chittoor herein issued preliminary notification dated 30.07.2017 in Rc.G3/6543/2012, under Section 11 (1) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Act No.30 of 2013) (for short 'the Act, 2013') and it is not for public purpose, for which the writ petitioner herein filed objections on 03.11.2017 but no orders are passed. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition is filed.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue submits that the respondents will consider the objections and take necessary action in accordance with Section 15 of the Act, 2013 by giving opportunity to the petitioner. In view of the same, respondents are directed to consider the objections of the petitioner in terms of Section 15

(2) of the Act.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Till such action is taken, the respondents cannot take possession of the lands without following further procedure under the Act, 2013. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Civil Revision Petition shall stand closed.
