THE HONOURABLE Dr.JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2018 in/and Criminal Petition No.13613 of 2018 ORDER :

The petitioner is accused in C.C.No.79 of 2012 on the file of the XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, at L.B.Nagar, Ranga Reddy district, WPS Saroor Nagar, outcome of Cr.No.179 of 2011 of Women Police Station, Saroor Nagar, Ranga Reddy district, registered for the offences punishable u/ sec.498-A IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act( for short, 'the DP Act') on the report of the 2nd respondent/ defactocomplainant. The petitioner and the defacto-complainant along with their respective counsel present before the Court and they stated that they have settled the dispute between them amicably and sought permission vide I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2018 to compromise the matter and compound the offences.

In view of the compromise between the parties, the same is recorded and they are permitted to compound the offences. In the result, the I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2018 are allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is also allowed quashing the proceedings against the petitioner/ Accused in C.C.No.79 of 2012 on the file of the XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, at L.B.Nagar, Ranga Reddy district, WPS Saroor Nagar, outcome of Cr.No.179 of 2011 of Women Police Station, Saroor Nagar, Ranga Reddy district. The petitioner/ Accused is acquitted and their bail bonds shall stand cancelled.
