Heard counsel for petitioner and the Government Pleader for Services-III appearing for respondents 1 to 3. 2.

Petitioner has challenged the proceedings dt.10.09.2018 transferring the petitioner from Kondurg(Shadnagar) to Keshampeta (Shadnagar) in R.R. District.

Petitioner contends that petitioner's choice was Farooqnagar and during counseling, the vacancy at that place was given to some third party.

Since admittedly even according to the petitioner the distance between Farooqnagar and Keshampeta, where he is now actually posted, is hardly 25 kms., I do not find any reason to interfere with the impugned order, since no serious prejudice is caused to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed at the admission stage. No order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
