O R D E R

This petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents in not considering the petitioner's representation dated 26.09.2018 seeking release of petitioner's Tractor bearing No.TS 28D 1286, Engine No.ZHE2MBA8119, which was seized on 03.06.2018.

Heard both sides.

As the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's vehicle has been seized in the context of a forest offence in June, 2018 and as keeping the vehicle unused since then would likely deteriorate the vehicle, pending consideration of further proceedings under Forest Act and Regulations made there under, the seized vehicle shall be released on the petitioner furnishing Bank Guarantee for the value of the seized vehicle as may be assessed by the Motor Vehicle Inspector of the District.

Subject to the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous applications if any pending, shall stand closed.
