Uppara Rajasekhar v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh,
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION No.40322 of 2017 ORDER:
Petitioner's grievance is that though he owns an extent of Ac.27.63 cents of land in Survey No.5 of Brahmanapalli Village, Kudair Mandal, Anantapuram District, the revenue records indicate his ownership only of an extent of Acs.15.86 cents. He contends that he made a representation to respondent No.4 on 30.10.2017 for mutation of the entire extent in his name in the revenue records and that respondent No.4 is not taking any action thereon. Learned Government Pleader for Revenue (Andhra Pradesh) appearing for respondents states that petitioner ought to apply in Form-6-A prescribed under the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 and if such application is filed, respondent No.4 will consider the same.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of giving liberty to petitioner to make an application in Form-6A to respondent No.4 for mutation of his name in the revenue records for the balance extent of land and within six weeks of filing of such application, respondent No.4 shall take appropriate action and communicate the decision taken thereon to the petitioner.
As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending, shall stand dismissed as infructuous.
