The present writ petition came to be filed seeking the following relief:

"to issue a writ, order or direction, particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents in resorting to demolish the petitioner's house bearing No.28/1A-1-99/30, situated in Plot Nos.29 and 30 of Sri Vengamamba Layouts, Ward No.28, Allipuram, Navalakula Thota, Nellore Rural Mandal, Nellore Municipal Corporation limits, Nellore, SPSR Nellore district, without following due procedure of law is illegal, arbitrary, violation of principles of natural justice and contrary to the provisions of the Municipalities Act and consequently direct the respondents not to interfere or indulge in any acquisition or demolition of the above said property without following procedure of law in the interest of justice".

Though various grounds are raised, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents, not to demolish his house without following the procedure of law. 3.

Heard both sides.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents not to take any coercive steps with regard to the demolition of the house of the petitioner, except in accordance with law.
