The grievance of the petitioners in this case was with regard to the inaction on the part of the revenue authorities in causing a survey of the land, the details of which are set out in the writ prayer, in Ravulapally Village of Thungathurthy Mandal, Suryapet District. By order dated 04.01.2018, this Court directed the Tahsildar, Thungathurthy Mandal, Suryapet District, to cause survey of the subject land in the event the petitioners made an application online for the said purpose.

Sri Pasnooru Venugopal Rao, learned counsel for the petitioners, would now inform this Court that in terms of the aforestated order, the survey operations have been completed and a report has also been furnished.

In that view of the matter, this Court sees no purpose served in entertaining this writ petition with regard to the latter portion of the prayer in relation to the police authorities offering protection to the petitioners for implementation of the decree in O.S.No.49 of 2013 on the file of the learned Junior Civil Judge, Thungathurthy. It would be open to the petitioners to invoke appropriate remedies available to them in law for that purpose.
