This writ petition is filed alleging that the representation dated 27.06.2018 made by the petitioner in Form VI-A with respect to incorporation of his name in the revenue records under the A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1977, is not being considered by respondent No.4.

The averments in the writ affidavit, briefly, are that the petitioner is the absolute owner and possessor of agricultural land admeasuring Ac.1-10 guntas in Survey No.640 of Theertala village, Khammam Rural Mandal, Khammam District, having purchased the same through a simple sale deed dated 23.05.2017 from one Paturi Ramesh. The petitioner submitted an application to the 4th respondent-Tahsildar on 27.06.2018, along with copy to respondents 2 and 3, seeking issuance of pattadar passbook and title deed in his favour. However, the 4th respondent has not acted on his application till date. He sent a reminder to the 4th respondent on 02.11.2018 but to no avail.

Heard Sri Karunakar Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue, State of Telangana. 4.

As the grievance of the petitioner is with regard to issuance of pattadar passbook and title deed with respect to the subject land, he is required to make an application in terms of Section (4) of the Act, particularly in the prescribed form i.e., Form VI-A. As and when the petitioner makes such an application, the respondent authorities, strictly by

wp_46640_2018 CKR, J following due process of law and subject to the petitioner fulfilling the requirements in terms of Rule 9 of the Act, shall consider his application and pass appropriate orders within a period of four months from the date of receipt of application from the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
