THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 46612 of 2018 O R D E R :

In this Writ Petition, the petitioner seeks grant of quarry lease for extraction of building stone and road metal over an extent of 2.00 Hectares in Survey No. 199 at Paidichintalapalli Village, Dharmaram Mandal, Peddapalli District. There is no dispute that the petitioner had made an Application seeking grant of quarry lease. Learned Government Pleader for Mines & Geology, on instructions, submits that the Mandal Revenue Officer has granted 'No Objection Certificate' on 12.03.2018 and further, the Assistant Director of Mines and Geology had also taken necessary steps for preparing the sketch and recommended for grant of quarry lease in favour of the petitioner. Now what all required to be done is, the Deputy Director of Mines and Geology, the 2nd respondent herein, who is the Competent Authority has to pass final orders.

Considering the said submission and also considering the fact that the Assistant Director of Mines & Geology had made recommendations on 10.12.2018, the 2nd respondent / Competent Authority shall pass necessary orders within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the said order, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall also stand disposed of.
