HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.13888 OF 2018 ORDER:

The petitioner/A3 seeks to quash the proceedings against him in Crime No.165 of 2018 on the file of Women Police Station, Visakhapatnam, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498-A IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Having regard to the nature of accusations made against petitioner under different sections of law, this Court is of the considered view that the investigation shall lead to its logical conclusion. However, the investigating officer, during the course of investigation, shall scrupulously follow the procedure contemplated under Section 41A Cr.P.C. and also the guidelines issued by the Hon'ble Apex Court in Arnesh Kumar Vs. State of Bihar1. The petitioner shall cooperate with the investigating agency for smooth completion of investigation.

Accordingly, with the above directions, this criminal petition is disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
