This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the 1st respondent in continuing to include the lands of the petitioners to an extent of Ac.1.17 cents (of the 1st petitioner) in Sy.No.535/1, an extent of Ac.1.36 cents and Ac.2.49 cents (of the 2nd petitioner) in Sy.Nos.529/1 and 529/2, respectively of Chowdavaram Village, Guntur Mandal, in the list contained in the Annexure to G.O.Ms.No.197, Revenue (Assn.I) Department, dated 05.05.2016, inspite of issuance of G.O.Ms.No.575, Revenue (Assn.1) Department, dated 16.11.2018.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue does not dispute that the subject lands are assigned prior to 1954. She also submits that the Government has issued G.O.Ms.No.575, dated 16.11.2018 ordering for deletion of Government lands assigned prior to 1954, from the purview of Section 22-A of the Registration Act, 1908. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the subject lands are liable to be deleted from the list of prohibited properties.

Accordingly, the writ petition is allowed. No order as to costs.

As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. ____________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY, J 31.12.2018 tk
