THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.47220 OF 2018 ORDER :

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Smt.K.Jyothi Prasad, learned Standing Counsel, apart from perusing the entire material available on record.

When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner so also the learned Standing Counsel that the issue, in the present Writ Petition, is squarely covered by the common order, dated 11.12.2018, passed by this Court in W.P.Nos.33132 & 30955 of 2018. A copy of the said order is placed on record.

Following the above said order, and for the reasons recorded therein, this Writ Petition is allowed, setting aside the proceedings, dated 08.08.2018, of the Executive Council of Andhra University. However, it is open for the respondent University to issue notice and call for explanation from the petitioner herein and to take further action strictly in accordance with law and petitioner is entitled to raise all the grounds available for consideration of the respondents. It is made clear that this order is confined only to the petitioner herein. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
