CRIMINAL PETITION NO. 12514 OF 2017 O R D E R :
This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner under section 437 and 439 of Cr.P.C., seeking grant of bail to the petitioner, who is A-7 in Crime No. 92 of 2017 of Prathipadu Police Station, East Godavari district, registered for the offences punishable under section 8 [c] read with section 20 [b] [ii] [c] of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
2. Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondent/State.
3. The counsel for the petitioner submits that no recovery was shown from the petitioner. But the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that this petitioner has been supplying ganja to several people including other accused and that in this case also he supplied ganja, which was being carried by A-2 to A-4.
4. Hence, in view of the above, this Court opines that it is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner/A-7
5. Considering the above, this Criminal Petition is dismissed.
6. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
