Heard.

The petitioner/defacto complainant seeks expeditious disposal of the case on the ground that the trial court casually posted the matter by granting time to the defence from 12.12.2018 to 18.12.2018. Learned counsel would submit that the case is posted to 27.12.2018 for arguments on defence side. His prayer is that a direction be given to Judicial Magistrate of First Class for Railways, Guntur, to dispose of C.C.No.237 of 2018 within a period of one week since arguments are almost completed.

It is seen from the order dated 12.11.2018 in Crl.P.No.11823 of 2018, this Court while allowing the said petition filed by the accused and permitting the accused to be represented by a counsel under Section 205 Cr.P.C. to answer the questions under Section 313 Cr.P.C., has held that the trial court shall dispose of the mater as expeditiously as possible. Thereafter, admittedly, further 313 Cr.P.C. examination was completed and even as per the own submission of the learned counsel for petitioner, the matter was taken up and arguments on behalf of prosecution were completed and the matter is now being posted for defence side arguments to 27.12.2018.

Having regard to the fact that this Court in its earlier order only directed that the case be disposed of expeditiously and not inclined to stipulate any specific date for disposal of the matter and further, as the matter is nearing completion in the sense it is coming on for the arguments on behalf of the defence and posted to 27.12.2018, in the considered view of this Court, no further orders need be passed. It is hoped, the trial court would, pursuant to the earlier order of this Court in Crl.P.No.11823 of 2018, dispose of the criminal case expeditiously.

Accordingly, with the above observations, this criminal petition is disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
