ORDER

This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to quash the proceedings in Crime No.440 of 2017 of Gadwal Town Police Station, Jogulamba District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 297, 447, 379, 511 read with Section 109 IPC and under Section 30(i) of AMASR Act, 1958 and under Section 30 of ITT Act, against the petitioner/A5, on various grounds. 2.

Learned counsel for petitioner, after arguing the matter for sometime, requested this Court to direct the police concerned to follow the procedure under Section 41-A Cr.P.C., if applicable. 3.

Acceding to the request of the counsel for petitioner, without touching the merits of the matter, the Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the police concerned to follow the procedure under Section 41-A Cr.P.C., if applicable and the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Arnesh Kumar v. State of Bihar1.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
