VRS, J & MGR, J W.P.No.41620 of 2017 HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE V. RAMASUBRAMANIAN AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M. GANGA RAO Writ Petition No.41620 of 2017 ORDER: (V. Ramasubramanian, J) The petitioners have come up with the above writ petition challenging an award of the Permanent Lok Adalat.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners.

3. The Permanent Lok Adalat award is not challenged on the ground of any fraud. The petitioners were issued notices and the only dispute was with respect to Public Utility Services. The 3rd respondent wanted restoration of electricity service connection. The same would come within the purview of the Public Utility Services.

3. Merely because there is a civil litigation in between the petitioners and the 3rd respondent, there is no embargo upon the Permanent Lok Adalat to grant electricity service connection, which is a bare necessity of life.

4. It appears that the writ petitioners already secured a decree for delivery of possession and a second appeal filed by the 3rd respondent, has also been dismissed. Therefore, even if electricity is restored, it is only a question of time before the petitioners execute the decree for delivery of possession and take possession. Therefore, we do not wish to interfere with the

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
