Heard Smt B.Geetha for petitioners and the Assistant Government Pleader (Home).
On 07.07.2009, the petitioners filed the petition under Section 3 (2) (a) of the Andhra Pradesh Scheduled Areas Land Transfer Regulation, 1959. The 1st petitioner applied under Right to Information Act, sought information on the status of the case from the 2nd respondent through letter dated 22.11.2017, the following reply is given:

Sir, Sub:-RTI-Act, 2005-Nagarkurnool District-Achampet Division-Lingal Mandal & Village-Application filed under Section-6 of Right to Information Act-REg. Ref:-A/o.Sri M.Venkateshwarlu R/o Lingala Village & Mandal dt.20.11.2017.
$$$ With reference to your RTI application cited, it is to inform you that the concerned file bearing No:E/1166/2009 is not closed and not passed any order and an enquiry report is awaited from Tahsildar, Lingal.
Yours faithfully, Sd/- Revenue Divisional Officer, & PIO Achampet."
The petitioners now complain against inaction in disposing of petition filed under Section 6 of Right to Information Act, 2005.
The grievance of petitioners against respondents is fully justified from the reply dated 22.11.2017.
The 2nd respondent cannot exonerate himself from the responsibility of disposing of LTRP expeditiously on account of non-availability of report from 3rd respondent. Writ petition is disposed of by directing 2nd respondent to look into the petition filed on 07.07.2009, hear the parties and dispose of within two (02) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The 3rd respondent is directed to forward the report which was called for, by 2nd respondent within four (04) weeks from today. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
