Heard Mr.Rizwan Ali for petitioner and the Assistant Government Pleader (Home).

The petitioner prays for the following relief: ".......Writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents police in not doing the proper investigation and not punish the accused in FIR No.87/2017 pending on the file of 3rd respondent i.e., Kothapeta Police Station, Guntur District is illegal, arbitrary and against the principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondents police to investigate the Crime No.87/2017...."

The Assistant Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that the investigation is completed and the 3rd respondent by following the procedure is proceeding to file report under Section 173 Cr.P.C.

The statement is placed on record.

The petitioner, on receipt of copy of report can work out remedies in accordance with law.

Writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
