The case of the petitioner precisely is that his father was the owner and possessor of agricultural land admeasuring Ac.0-62 cents and Ac.0-20 cents in Survey Nos.328/3R and 328/4R, respectively, of Kumili village, Posapatirega mandal, Vizianagaram District, and he executed a Will Deed on 06.11.2009 in petitioner's favour, on the strength of which he succeeded to the property after the death of his father on 29.11.2009. It is his grievance that though he made an application in Form VI-A before the 4th respondent on 06.02.2016, under the A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971, seeking mutation of his name in the revenue records and also to upload the details online, the 4th respondent has not acted upon his application.

Heard Sri A. Jagan, counsel for the petitioner, and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue, State of Andhra Pradesh. 3.

Having regard to the submissions made, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 4th respondent to pass appropriate orders on the application dated 06.02.2016 said to have been made by the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, in any event within four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to interested parties and by following due procedure contemplated under law.
