Vakati Amarnadh Reddy, v. The Andhra Pradesh
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITON Nos 42296 And 42376 OF 2017 COMMON ORDER:
The case of the petitioners is that their power connections are disconnected without following Regulations. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petitions are filed.
Learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-Corporation on instructions submits that while removing the encroachments as per orders of this Court in connected WP.No.7274 of 2017, the electricity transformers erected inside the pond and outside the pond identified and power connections have been disconnected. The same is disputed by learned counsel for the petitioners. It is stated by learned counsel for the petitioners that atleast notice should have been issued and the petitioners could have file explanation to the same. In the impugned order also, there is no mention that the petitioners were put on notice before disconnecting the power supply.
In view of the same, the writ petitions are disposed of with a direction to the respondents to restore power supply to the service connections of the petitioners. However, this order will not preclude the respondents from taking action after issuing notice to the petitioners.
As a sequel to the disposal of these petitions, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. _________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY,J 21-12-2017 Nvl
